Laughter Yoga (Hasya Yoga) 

Laughter Yoga originated in Mumbai in the 1990’s and is a modern exercise involving prolonged voluntary laughter, which turns into real and contagious laughter. This yoga is based on the study that voluntary laughter provides similar physiological and psychological benefits as spontaneous laughter. We love the accessibility of Laughter Yoga; you don’t need to think of something funny in order for it to work. Our minds cannot distinguish between real and fake laughter, which allows participants to process emotional pain with relative ease.

Try it out: Grab an object. State something about it, then start laughing for a few seconds and witness how forced laughter becomes involuntary!

Integrative Nutritional Cooking (INC) 

Integrative Nutritional therapy is the practice of applying a personalized nutrition care to create gradual changes in your primary food intake. We make this accessible by exposing you to health benefits in your existing routine and offering simple functionality changes that you can progressively build upon. Our cooking classes are 0% How-To-Cut-Veggies and 100% How-They’re-A-Superfood.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra, meaning “psychic sleep”, was first recorded (quite accidentally) in Rishikesh in the 1950’s. It is a guided practice which incorporates still postures and mindful breathing to slow your mind’s wavelengths and drop you into a trance state. This practice is similar to meditation but can feel more accessible because the physical and cognitive steps (e.g. body scanning) are more actionable than attempting to rid your mind of all thought. We also love Yoga Nidra because it’s done in shavasana (Corpse Pose) which is everyone’s favorite, right?!

Life Guidance

While the concept of Life Coaching is centuries old, it wasn’t recognized as a profession until the mid 1900’s. Tribe of Bitches

Our Tribe is brand new and we love it! We’re unlike other retreats where you’re secluded or whispering for much of the day, then go home with no guidance on how to implement your new goals. We spend the weekend enjoying each others company at the level each of us is individually comfortable with. Each ticket includes a free lifetime membership to our Tribe, beginning the day you go home. Our excursions are equal parts healthy and fun and our Tribe of Bitches extends access to your wellness journey for as long as you choose. You’ve got us for life!
